Obama's Vision of America
I heard on the radio today one of Obama's comments. He was asked if it was important for America to institute a law that mandated English to become the official language of The United States. In his response he stated that it was important for Spanish speaking people to learn English, but it was more important for Americans to learn Spanish!! He went on to say that Americans expect people to speak English yet when we travel to other countries we do not speak the language of that country. He described a double standard that Americans display to the world.
With the above being stated I just want to say that I am scared for the safety of our nation to be in the hands of this man. How dare he compare an American visiting another country to someone who wants to live in America. If an American travels to France for a visit it is alright to not speak the French language. If an American were to move to France then they should learn to speak French. But to make the statement that if you move to America it is more important that the Americans learn the Spanish language, he is out of touch with reality.
I for one am sick of seeing the Spanish translation under every sign in the stores today. I for one am tired of having to listen to English/Spanish recordings whenever I make a telephone call. I for one am tired of having to keep my opinions to myself because I fear "upsetting" someone. So, as I continue on this rant I make no apologies. I am an American and I am proud to that fact. I am sick of having to support the world with the tax dollars our nation really does not have. I am sick of the international double standards that America has to keep up so it can be "politically correct". If you doubt this then try to be an illegal in Mexico. You will be arrested, imprisoned and then sent home. You are not welcome in Mexico.
I am sick of the criminals who break our laws to get here and then accuse me of being racist because I dispute the legitimacy of them being here. I do not care about the kids, the wives, the fathers or their family pet. If they (any nationality) want to come to America then come legally and you are welcome. Get here outside the law then you are a criminal. If you say they do the jobs Americans do not want you are wrong. They do the jobs that American corporations do not want to pay a decent wage to have done. If you think the jobs are unwanted by Americans what you are really saying is that the Americans do not want to lower their standard of living to that of the average Mexican citizen.
Obama supporters need to wake up and listen to the danger this man is posing to America. His views are closer to Socialism than any Presidential candidate. Listen to what he says and fear the "change" he wants to bring.
